The ALZMETALL GS 600E/3 is a precision vertical machining center engineered for advanced hybrid-machining applications including drilling, milling, turning, and grinding operations at a single clamping setup. Built with grey cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron construction, the machine features the proprietary ALZMETALL-Gantry-Concept (AGK) design for enhanced rigidity and thermal stability. The three-axis configuration offers traverse paths of 460mm (X-axis), 600mm (Y-axis), and 400mm (Z-axis), accommodating workpieces up to 750kg including clamping devices. The monobloc travel-system carriage incorporates a Box-in-Box system with 2-fold linear guidance for X-Y travel and 4-fold linear guidance for the Z-axis, ensuring excellent axis dynamics and parallel-path precision.
