Technical Description

The HOMMA HTM 7.0/9.0 is a robust vertical boring mill controlled by a Fanuc 15-M CNC. This machine features a gantry travel of 275" / 354" and a substantial work height of 157". The table diameter is 275.59", capable of handling a maximum working diameter of 354.33" and supporting a maximum table load of 250 tons. The table speed ranges from 0.25 to 30 RPM, powered by a 201 HP spindle motor. Key axes include a Ram Stroke (Z-Axis) of 118.11" with an ISO #50 taper and a Cross Rail Elevation (W-Axis) of 78.74". The distance between the table and cross rail adjusts from 92.51" to 171.25". Milling capabilities are provided by a 5.06" diameter spindle with speeds from 10 to 1,000 RPM. The machine offers extensive column movement (X-Axis) from -112" to +332.87" and a horizontal stroke (Y-Axis) of 427.16", with rapid traverse rates up to 236.22 IPM. Precision is ensured with C-Axis positioning accuracy of 0.001 Degrees.
