Technical Description

The Mustang 2700V NXT2 is a high-performance, vertical-lift skid steer loader designed for demanding applications. It is powered by a Yanmar Tier 4 diesel engine delivering 72 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque. The machine boasts a 2,700 lb rated operating capacity, which can be increased to 3,000 lbs with an optional counterweight, and has an operating weight of 8,150 lbs. The vertical-lift boom provides a maximum lift height to the hinge pin of 130.3 inches. Hydraulic performance is robust, with a standard flow of 23.5 gpm and an optional high-flow system reaching 35 gpm. Stability and ride quality are enhanced by a long 49.5-inch wheelbase. Operator comfort and visibility are key features, highlighted by a cab-forward design, high seating position, and excellent all-around sightlines, aided by lowered rear towers. Control is facilitated by fully adjustable joysticks and hand/foot control towers, with optional self-leveling hydraulics available. Safety is addressed with a Level II FOPS operator station, and an optional two-speed transmission can further enhance productivity.
