The Okuma MA-12500H is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty and large workpieces. It features a 49.21" x 49.21" rotary pallet table supporting up to 11,100 lbs, with a support rotary table standard and no support index table. The machine operates with a 50 taper horizontal spindle capable of 6,000 rpm at 60 HP (30-minute rating), with optional configurations including a 4,500 rpm heavy-duty spindle or a high-speed HSK-A100 option. It incorporates a 177-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) and a standard 2-pallet changer for efficient automation. The machine travels 86.61" in X, 64.96" in both Y and Z axes, with a rapid traverse rate of 1,653 ipm, and offers a full 360° B-axis rotary table, supporting complex 4-axis CNC operations. The MA-12500H is built on an integral rib-reinforced bed with Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept, ensuring excellent thermal stability and machining accuracy.
