THE SUNDSTRAND-ARTER H30 ROTARY SURFACE GRINDER FEATURES A 30" NOMINAL DIAMETER MAGNETIC CHUCK WITH A 31" ACTUAL FACE DIAMETER. CAPACITY SPECIFICATIONS INCLUDE A MAXIMUM SWING OF 34" IN THE WATER PAN AND A MAXIMUM WORK HEIGHT OF 10" WITH A NEW WHEEL. THE STANDARD WHEEL SIZE IS 16" X 2" X 8", DRIVEN BY A 20 HP WHEELHEAD SPINDLE MOTOR OPERATING AT 1400 RPM. THIS GRINDER OFFERS ADJUSTABLE SPEEDS AND FEEDS, INCLUDING A TABLE SPEED RANGE OF 30-125 RPM. POWER FEED IS ADJUSTABLE FROM .0001" TO .0015", WITH THE FEED HANDWHEEL PROVIDING A FINEST DIVISION OF .0001". THE WHEELHEAD STROKE MAXIMUM IS 17", AND THE KNEE PROVIDES A MAXIMUM VERTICAL TRAVEL OF 12". THE MACHINE ALLOWS FOR 10 DEGREES OF ANGULAR TILT, BOTH CONVEX AND CONCAVE. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS ARE STANDARDIZED AT 460V-60HZ-3 PHASE. GENERAL DATA INCLUDES A 45-GALLON COOLANT RESERVOIR AND AN 80-GALLON HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR. MACHINE WEIGHT IS 12,600 LBS, WITH OVERALL DIMENSIONS OF 126” X 58” X 91”.
