Technical Description

The TOS WRD 150 Horizontal Boring Mill is a robust machine tool featuring a 5.91-inch spindle size and a powerful 80.5 HP motor, achieving a maximum spindle speed of 2,500 RPM. This model offers extensive travel capabilities, including an X-Horizontal Travel of the Column at 708.66 inches (or optional 314.96" and 6000 mm options) and a Y-Vertical Travel of the Head at 137.80 inches (or optional 157.48" and 4000 mm options). The Z-Spindle Travel is 39.37 inches (or 1000 mm). It is equipped with a large working surface, specifically a 78.74-inch table width and 98.43-inch table length, with optional clamping dimensions up to 118.1 x 136.5 inches, capable of handling a maximum workpiece weight of 25,000 kg. Control is managed by a high-precision CNC system, specifically the SINUMERIK 840D. The machine is versatile, with an optional WRD 150/160 version supporting main spindle diameters of 150 mm or 160 mm.
