The CASE 521E XR is a high-performance articulated wheel loader designed for demanding construction and material handling applications. Powered by a turbocharged 4-cylinder 445TA/EGE engine with 274 cu in displacement, it delivers 129 hp (96 kW) gross power and 118 hp (88 kW) net power at 1800 rpm, with peak torque at 1300 rpm and a 19% torque rise for responsive operation. The loader features a robust hydraulic system with a 35.4 gal/min (132 l/min) pump flow, 3625 psi relief valve setting, and fast cycle times—5.6 sec raise, 2.7 sec lower, and 1.1 sec dump.
