The Cell-Con H-15D Duplex Horizontal Machining Center is a robust, high-productivity CNC machine designed for versatile horizontal machining tasks. It features a 29.0" x 18.25" work table with an optional extended size of 34.25" x 21.66", supporting workpieces up to 1,000 lbs. The spindle is horizontally oriented with an ISO 40 taper, rated at 15 HP (30-minute rating) and capable of speeds up to 2,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 3,000 RPM. Tool handling is managed via an automatic tool changer (ATC) that standardly holds 6 tools, with an option for 12 tools, enabling efficient tool changes in 6 seconds and chip-to-chip time in 8 seconds. The machine includes 6 axes of motion, with an optional 7-axis configuration, with X, Y, and Z travels of 24", 17", and 18" respectively, and a full 360° B-axis rotary capability. Maximum feed rates reach 600 inches per minute, with rapid traverse speeds up to 787 inches per minute, ensuring swift and precise machining cycles. Optional features include pallet changers supporting 2 up to 5 pallets, index tables, and rotary tables to maximize flexibility in manufacturing workflows.
