Technical Description

The Cell-Con H-15P Pallet Indexer is a horizontal machining center equipped with a 15-horsepower spindle featuring an ISO 40 taper. It offers a spindle speed range up to 2,000 RPM standard, with an optional increase to 3,000 RPM. The machine features a robust table/work support measuring 35 inches by 22 inches, capable of handling workpieces up to 220 lbs. Its configuration includes a standard indexing table with no rotary table, supporting efficient workpiece loading by minimizing downtime through quick indexing, approximately 3.5 seconds per index. The tool system is an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 6 tools, upgradeable to 12 tools, with tool change times of 6 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 8 seconds, enhancing productivity. The machine operates on 3 linear axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 24", 17", and 18" respectively, each with a maximal feed rate and rapid traverse rate of 600 inches per minute feed and 787 inches per minute rapid moves for efficient material removal and positioning. The pallet changer is included as standard with 2 pallets, upgradeable to 5 pallets, allowing continuous machining cycles and reduced setup times. The H-15P uses Fanuc CNC control for precision and reliability. This machining center is optimized for high-efficiency horizontal operations where rapid pallet indexing and flexible tooling are critical.
