The Chevalier Machinery, Inc. EM2033L Vertical Machining Center is a high-speed, high-precision CNC machine designed for demanding industrial applications. Featuring a vertical spindle with a #40 Big Plus taper, it delivers robust performance and compatibility with a wide range of tooling. The machine is equipped with a 25-tool arm-type automatic tool changer, enabling rapid tool changes in just 3 seconds, which significantly reduces non-cutting time and boosts productivity. The spindle is powered by a 20 HP motor and operates at speeds up to 10,000 RPM, providing excellent surface finishes and efficient material removal rates. The EM2033L utilizes high-speed linear ways on all three axes (X, Y, Z), ensuring smooth, accurate movement and fast interpolation for complex machining tasks. Axis travels are 33.5" (X), 20.9" (Y), and 20.1" (Z), with rapid traverse rates of 1,417 ipm on each axis, allowing for quick positioning and reduced cycle times. The table size is 39.4" x 20.1", supporting workpieces up to 500 kg (1,100 lbs.), and the machine is built with Meehanite cast iron for superior rigidity, vibration damping, and long-term accuracy. Standard features include a Fanuc 0i-MF control, automatic lubrication, full enclosure, air blast chip blower, coolant system, and rear chip flush system.
