This vertical machining center features a robust 55" x 32.3" worktable capable of supporting workpieces up to 3,300 lbs, suitable for heavy-duty machining tasks. It offers optional support tables and rotary tables to enhance workpiece stability and versatility. The machine is equipped with a vertical spindle featuring a #50 taper, delivering 20 HP (30-minute rating) with a standard top spindle speed of 3,500 RPM, upgradeable to 6,000 RPM for higher-speed applications. The spindle supports an automatic tool changer (ATC) with capacity for 24 tools, providing quick tool changes that maximize productivity.
The machine supports 3 axes of motion (X, Y, Z) with respective travels of 49.2", 25.6", and 27.6", each with a maximum feed rate of 197 inches per minute and a rapid traverse rate of 787 inches per minute, ensuring fast and precise positioning. Additionally, a fourth axis rotary capability (B axis) with 360° rotation is available optionally. The machine structure and components support heavy workpieces and offer high precision with rigid construction.
