Technical Description
The DMG MORI DMC 125U DUOBLOCK is a high-performance vertical machining center designed for demanding 5-axis applications. Featuring a robust duoBLOCK structure, it delivers exceptional rigidity and precision for complex machining tasks. The machine is equipped with a 4th axis rotary table and a 5th axis trunnion, enabling full multi-sided machining in a single setup. The table/pallet size measures 39.4" x 31.5", with a total of seven pallets for high-throughput production. Axis travels are 49.2" (X), 49.2" (Y), and 39.4" (Z), accommodating large workpieces. The spindle utilizes an HSK63 taper, reaches speeds up to 20,000 RPM, and is powered by a 47 HP motor for high-speed, high-torque performance. Tool management is streamlined with a 183-pocket chain magazine and advanced tool changer. Control is provided by a 21.5" ERGOline multi-touch screen featuring CELOS software, electronic handwheel, inch/metric conversion, early power failure detection, and 3D QuickSET for rapid setup. Additional features include tool identification (TDS), interpolation turning, oil filtration, automatic tool length measurement, tool parts probe, transformer, air blast through spindle, spray pistol for chip rinsing, oil and emulsion mist separator, Blum laser tool measuring, 4-color signal lamp, sensor package i4.0, P-SK004 scanner, Federal Pacific transformer, RPS 7 rotary pallet storage, and thru-spindle coolant at 1,160 PSI. The Renishaw OMP60 probe ensures accurate workpiece and tool measurement, supporting high-precision manufacturing.
