It utilizes a powerful CAT50 tapered spindle with a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM and a 30 HP motor (rated for 30 minutes), providing high torque and stability for heavy-duty machining tasks. The machine offers a 3-axis setup with substantial travel—82.8" in X, 59" in Y, and 59" in Z—each capable of feed rates up to 472 inches per minute and rapid traverse speeds reaching 945 inches per minute, ensuring fast and efficient material removal. Tool management is handled by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 120 tools, expandable to 196, facilitating extended production runs and complex machining programs without frequent interruptions. Tool change times are competitive at 8.5 seconds per tool and 13.5 seconds including chip clearance, optimizing cycle times and productivity. While the base model includes a standard indexing table for workpiece support, an optional rotary table is available to enhance operational flexibility for angular and multi-face machining.
