The DN Solutions HP 4000 is a high-speed, high-precision horizontal machining center designed for robust industrial applications. It features a 15.75" x 15.75" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 880 lbs. The machine includes a standard support index table with an optional rotary table, enhancing workpiece positioning flexibility. Its horizontal spindle is a #40 taper model, running up to 14,000 RPM powered by a 30 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, ensuring high torque and speed performance. Tool management is handled by an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) supporting up to 60 tools as standard, with an optional capacity of 170 tools, enabling extensive machining versatility. Tool change time is rapid, at just 1.5 seconds per tool, with a chip-to-chip time of 4 seconds, minimizing downtime. The machine comes equipped with a standard pallet changer that holds two pallets, expandable up to 13 for increased automation and continuous operation. The HP 4000 operates primarily on a 3-axis system with an optional 4th axis, providing travel capacities of 23.6" (X), 22.0" (Y), and 23.6" (Z). Maximum feed rates reach 1,181 IPM on all axes, with a rapid traverse rate of 2,362 IPM, delivering high productivity and efficient material removal. The machine is built with roller guideways for enhanced rigidity and precision, as well as thermal management features to maintain accuracy during high-speed machining.
