The DN Solutions PUMA 2500SY is a high-performance horizontal machining center engineered for precision and productivity in demanding turning and milling applications. Featuring a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 13.0" and a turning length of 19.6", it supports a 10.0" chuck and a maximum bar diameter of 3.0". The main spindle delivers up to 3,500 RPM and 30 HP, while the sub-spindle reaches 6,000 RPM with 10 HP, enabling efficient part transfer and secondary operations. The machine is equipped with a turret-style tool carrier, supporting up to 12 turning tools and 12 rotary tools, each capable of 6,000 RPM and 5 HP for live milling operations. With a 5-axis configuration, the PUMA 2500SY offers X-axis travel of 9.8", Y-axis travel of 3.94", and Z-axis travel of 22.8", all with rapid traverse rates of 790 ipm for fast positioning and reduced cycle times. The integrated Y-axis allows off-center milling, drilling, and slotting, while C-axis contouring on both spindles enables complex multi-face machining in a single setup.
