Technical Description
The DN SOLUTIONS PUMA MX2600 (S/ST) is a high-performance horizontal machining center featuring dual main spindles, each with a 10" chuck diameter and a maximum turning diameter of 29.9". Both spindles operate at speeds up to 4,000 RPM with 34.9 HP power, allowing robust and precise turning operations. The machine supports bar diameters up to 3", enhancing versatility for various workpieces. It is equipped with a primary automatic tool carrier (ATC) spindle capable of holding up to 80 tools for both turning and rotary operations, with rotary tool power of 29.5 HP at speeds reaching 12,000 RPM. An optional lower turret adds 12 turning and rotary tools with 7.8 HP power and 4,000 RPM speed.
This machining center supports simultaneous cutting with either one or optionally two tools, functioning across six axes standard with options to extend up to nine axes, enabling complex multi-axis machining tasks. Travels include 24.8" on the X-axis, 13.6" on the Y-axis, and an extensive 62.4" on the Z-axis, all with rapid traverse speeds of 1,417 inches per minute, ensuring both large work envelope and fast repositioning. The machine excels in precision and multi-functionality, suitable for industries requiring complex turning, milling, and combined operations on medium to large parts. Its advanced tooling capabilities and multi-axis control optimize throughput and accuracy in demanding manufacturing environments.
