Technical Description

The EMMEGI DIAMANT Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance 4-axis CNC machining center designed for precision milling, drilling, threading, and cutting operations on large bars and profiles in aluminum, PVC, light alloys, and steel up to 2 mm thickness. Featuring a mobile gantry structure with precision rack and pinion drive, the machine delivers robust and accurate movement across its working envelope of X: 393.70 inches (10,000 mm), Y: 47.64 inches (1,210 mm), and Z: 35.83 inches (910 mm). The high-power electrospindle, rated at 10.04 hp (7.5 kW), operates at speeds up to 24,000 rpm and is equipped with an HSK-63F toolholder for reliable tool coupling and efficient machining. The integrated tool magazine, available in 9- or 12-place configurations, supports a wide range of tooling and enables rapid tool changes, while the optional 300-mm blade allows for cutting and separation tasks. The machine’s versatile vice system ensures secure clamping of profiles, even of large dimensions, and supports double-mode operation for minimized downtime and increased productivity. All CNC axes are absolute, eliminating the need for homing after power-up. Designed for heavy-duty applications, the Diamant offers simultaneous 4-axis interpolation, dynamic tool management, and advanced safety features, including a soundproofed operator cab with broad glazed surfaces for monitoring and maintenance. The system is engineered for optimal chip and fume management, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
