Technical Description

The Enshu GE40H Horizontal Machining Center is a compact, high-performance CNC machine designed for high-volume and precision part production. Featuring a robust 400mm (15.748") pallet and a BIGPlus/CAT40 tool taper, the GE40H delivers exceptional rigidity and accuracy for demanding machining applications. The machine offers generous axis travels of 19.7" (500mm) on the X and Y axes, and 20" (508mm) on the Z axis, enabling efficient processing of a wide range of workpieces. Its direct-coupled spindle provides a maximum speed of 12,000 RPM and 33.5 hp power, ensuring high-speed cutting and superior surface finishes. The automatic tool changer (ATC) accommodates up to 40 tools, minimizing non-cutting time and maximizing productivity. The GE40H is equipped with a rotary automatic pallet changer, supporting two 400mm pallets with a total capacity of 1,760 lbs (798 kg), allowing for continuous operation and reduced downtime. Rapid traverse rates reach 2,362 IPM (60,000 mm/min) on all axes, while the machine’s advanced thermal stability design ensures consistent accuracy and reliability even under heavy use. The control system is based on the Fanuc 31iMB CNC platform, providing intuitive operation and seamless integration into automated production environments. With overall dimensions of 180" x 112" x 139" (4,572mm x 2,845mm x 3,531mm), the GE40H combines a small footprint with high output, making it ideal for lean manufacturing and secondary operations.
