A+Technical Description
The FEELER FV-600 is a versatile vertical machining center designed for precision manufacturing of medium-sized components. This machine features a compact working envelope with 610mm (24") X-axis travel, 450mm (20") Y-axis travel, and 505mm (20") Z-axis stroke, providing adequate capacity for diverse machining applications. The 400x800mm table accommodates workpieces up to 300kg maximum load, supported by a rigid cast iron construction weighing approximately 3,600-4,900kg. The FV-600 is equipped with a spindle taper of BT40 or CAT-40, capable of 6,000 RPM maximum speed with rapid traverse rates of 24 m/min across all axes. The 15 kVA power consumption enables consistent high-torque operations suitable for both roughing and finishing work. An 18-position automatic tool changer facilitates efficient production runs with approximately 7-11 second tool-to-tool change times. Available with multiple CNC control options including FANUC OMC, SIEMENS SINUMERIK, and MITSUBISHI M50 systems, the FV-600 delivers positioning accuracy of ±0.0075mm with repeatability of ±0.005mm. The machine's A-frame column design provides structural rigidity for stable machining performance. Originally manufactured in Taiwan, this mid-range VMC represents a practical solution for job shops, tool and die operations, and contract manufacturers requiring reliable precision with economical operation. Its compact footprint enables installation in space-constrained facilities while maintaining industrial-grade durability and cutting performance.
