Technical Description
This vertical CNC machining center features a robust table measuring 43.3 inches in length by 20.0 inches in width, capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,204 lbs. The spindle is oriented vertically and utilizes a CT-40 taper, with an optional CT-50 taper for increased rigidity and tooling versatility. Spindle speeds reach up to 6,000 RPM standard, with an optional upgrade to 8,000 RPM, and is powered by a 10 HP (30-minute rating) motor, expandable to 12 HP for demanding applications. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) that accommodates 24 tools standard, with an option for 40 tools, enabling efficient production runs. Tool change time is rapid at 2.5 seconds, with a chip-to-chip time of 3.5 seconds, minimizing downtime. A pallet changer is available as an option for further automation. The machine operates on three axes (X, Y, Z) with an optional fourth axis (B), providing 360° rotation for complex part geometries. Axis travels are 40.16 inches (X), 23.6 inches (Y), and 22.5 inches (Z), with maximum feed rates and rapid traverse speeds of 787 and 945 inches per minute, respectively, ensuring high productivity and precision. This configuration is ideal for a wide range of milling applications, from prototyping to high-volume production, offering flexibility, speed, and accuracy.
