This vertical machining center features a robust 53.15 x 53.15-inch table, supporting workpieces up to 5,500 lbs, with an optional smaller table size of 35.43 x 35.43 inches. The machine is equipped with a standard SK 50 spindle taper, capable of 9,000 RPM, and offers an optional HSK A 100 taper with a top speed of 10,000 RPM. The spindle delivers 75 HP (30-minute rating), with an optional 55 HP configuration. The machine includes a standard rotary table for enhanced versatility, supporting complex 5-axis machining operations with X, Y, Z, A, and B axes. The X, Y, and Z-axis travels measure 47.24", 35.43", and 35.43" respectively, each with a rapid traverse rate of 1,965 ipm, ensuring fast and efficient movement. The A-axis offers 260° rotation, while the B-axis provides full 360° rotation. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 70 tools, expandable to 147 tools, and a tool change chip-to-chip time of 9.5 seconds.
