The HISION 160H/D Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance CNC machine designed for precision and heavy-duty machining applications. It features an advanced T-type bed structure with a gantry-type column and positive hanging box layout, ensuring strong rigidity and high precision retention for both roughing and finishing operations. The machine offers an X-axis travel of 98.425 inches (2,500 mm), a Y-axis travel of 78.74 inches (2,000 mm), and a Z-axis travel of 59.055 inches (1,500 mm), providing ample workspace for large and complex workpieces. The spindle delivers a maximum speed of 2,500 RPM and is supported by a robust two-stage gear system, enabling high torque output at low speeds for efficient heavy cutting. The spindle box utilizes a combination of angular contact and double-row cylindrical roller bearings to ensure durability and accuracy under demanding conditions. The machine is equipped with a 60-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), enhancing productivity and reducing non-cutting time.
