2004-2018 HITACHI ZW120-6 WHEEL LOADER

The Hitachi ZW120-6 is a compact wheel loader engineered for durability, efficiency, and operator comfort on demanding construction sites. Powered by a Deutz TCD3.6L4F 4-cylinder, turbocharged, intercooled diesel engine, it delivers 101 hp (74 kW) gross and 96 hp (71 kW) net, meeting EU Stage IV and US EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards with DOC and SCR aftertreatment. The loader features a four-wheel drive system with heavy-duty planetary final drives mounted inboard, semi-floating front and rear axles, and a total oscillation angle of 20 degrees for improved stability on uneven terrain. Its hydrostatic transmission provides smooth, responsive control with two travel speeds: 7.1 mph (1st) and 34.5 mph (2nd). The articulated frame steering system allows a total steering angle of 80 degrees, enhancing maneuverability. Hydraulic functions are managed by a gear-type main pump, offering fast cycle times: 6.6 seconds for lift arm raise, 2.7 seconds for lower, and 1.6 seconds for bucket dump. The loader is equipped with inboard, fully hydraulic wet disc brakes on all wheels, with independent front and rear circuits and a spring-applied, hydraulically released parking brake. The cab design prioritizes visibility and safety, with a pillarless rear for improved sightlines and available rear-view camera. With a bucket capacity of 1.5–2.4 yd³ and an operating weight of approximately 18,585 lbs (8,430 kg), the ZW120-6 is well-suited for a wide range of material handling tasks.
