A+Technical Description
The Juaristi TS 205 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance, rigid CNC machine designed for heavy-duty milling and boring operations. Featuring a robust table/work support system, it offers a standard table size of 98.430" x 98.430" with an optional expansion to 118.110" x 118.110", capable of supporting workpieces up to 110,000 lbs. The horizontal spindle utilizes a #60 taper and delivers up to 67 HP (30-minute rating), with an optional 70 HP configuration, ensuring high machining power and torque for demanding applications. Spindle speeds reach up to 1,200 RPM, balancing speed and rigidity for precision work. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 32 tools, expandable to 100, and features rapid chip-to-chip tool change times. An optional pallet changer with up to two pallets enhances productivity for high-volume production. The machine operates on four axes as standard, with a fifth axis available as an option, providing versatile multi-directional machining. Axis travels include X up to 236.220" (optional), Y up to 157.480" (optional), Z up to 49.210", and a full 360° B-axis rotation. Maximum feed and rapid traverse rates are 394 ipm across all axes, ensuring efficient material removal and fast cycle times. The TS 205 combines high rigidity, advanced automation, and flexible configuration for precision machining of large, heavy components.
