A+Technical Description
The KASUGA SEIKI V100 Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance, rigid 3-axis CNC milling machine designed for precision and durability in heavy-duty machining applications. It features a vertical CAT 40 spindle capable of reaching speeds up to 10,000 RPM, with an optional upgrade to 20,000 RPM, powered by a 20 HP (30-minute rating) motor for robust cutting capacity. The machine’s worktable measures 43.3" by 19.7", supporting workpieces up to 990 lbs, with optional indexing or rotary tables to enhance versatility. Precision linear slideways equipped with 45 mm ballscrews on all three axes provide superior rigidity, stability, and thermal resistance, enabling accurate and repeatable machining. The travel ranges are 40.2" (X), 21.3" (Y), and 22.6" (Z) axes, all equipped with rapid traverse rates of 1,886 inches per minute, allowing fast positioning. Tool management is handled by a 24-station automatic tool changer (ATC) with a quick 2.3-second tool change time, optimizing cycle times for high throughput. The machine incorporates fanuc CNC control for reliable, precise automation. Its robust column and base construction and broad Y-axis support ensure outstanding rigidity and resistance to vibration, making it ideal for mold, die, and general precision machining tasks. The spindle offers HSK-63A taper as an option for enhanced tool retention and higher speed applications. The V100’s combination of high spindle power, large travels, and stable construction delivers excellent machining performance and flexibility without pallet changer support.
