A+Technical Description
The Kawasaki 95Z7XT is a heavy-duty wheel loader engineered for maximum loading efficiency on demanding construction sites. This "2-Pass" configuration features an enlarged 9.0 to 9.8 cubic-yard bucket, increased from the standard 95Z7's 7.3 cubic yards, enabling operators to load standard 24-ton trucks in just two passes instead of three. Powered by an Isuzu 6WG1 engine producing 388 horsepower, the machine delivers robust performance for high-volume material handling. The 95Z7XT incorporates significant structural enhancements to handle increased loads of approximately 12 tons per bucket. The boom arms are shortened, thickened, and strengthened to maintain a lower center of gravity and prevent stress on front-end hydraulics. The hydraulic cylinder bore for the bucket has been enlarged, while the chassis receives reinforcements to manage additional torque and weight loads. These upgrades result in a 26 percent increase in breakout force compared to the standard 95Z7, and a 10 percent greater tipping load. Weighing 79,080 pounds at operating capacity, the machine maintains excellent maneuverability despite its enhanced capabilities. The counterweight has been increased to balance the additional weight distribution. With a maximum dump clearance of 14.5 feet, the 95Z7XT delivers productivity gains through reduced cycle times and improved fuel efficiency, making it ideal for high-volume loading operations in quarries, mines, and aggregate operations.
