Technical Description
The Komatsu WA200-7 wheel loader features a powerful, fuel-efficient Komatsu SAA4D107E-2 turbocharged engine delivering 126 hp (94 kW) at 2000 rpm, compliant with EPA Tier 4 interim/Stage IIIB emissions standards. It has a displacement of approximately 272.2 cu in (4.46 L), with four cylinders. The machine’s operating weight ranges from 25,342 to 26,070 lbs (11,485 to 11,825 kg), supported on 20.5 R25 tires with a wheelbase of about 9.4 ft (3 m). The WA200-7 incorporates Komatsu’s second-generation electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission with four forward and four reverse gears, enabling a max speed of 23.7 mph (37 kph) and advanced traction control for enhanced performance on soft or slippery surfaces.
The wheel loader is equipped with an 8.4 ft (2 m) wide bucket, rated at 2.6 cubic yards (2 m³) capacity, and achieves a breakout force of 24,250 lbs (11,000 kg). It offers a hinge-pinned max lift height of 12.8 ft (4 m), dump clearance at max raise of 9.8 ft (3 m), and a reach of 3.2 ft (1 m). Ground clearance is 1.7 ft (0.5 m), with a turning radius of 16.1 ft (5 m). The hydraulic system uses a gear-type pump with a flow capacity of 22.5 gal/min (83 L/min), featuring dump, raise, and lower times of 1.9, 5.7, and 3.2 seconds respectively and a relief valve setting at 20.6 MPa.
Fuel capacity is 46.8 gallons (174 L), and other fluid capacities include hydraulic oil (15.4 gal/57 L) and engine oil (4.1 gal/15 L). The WA200-7 is designed for durability, efficiency, and operator comfort, optimized with Komatsu’s SmartLoader Logic to adjust engine torque for fuel savings during lighter workloads.
