The engine utilizes charge-air cooling and Liebherr-SCR exhaust after-treatment technology for efficient, low-emission operation. The loader is equipped with a dry-type air cleaner, service indicator, and a load-sensing variable axial piston hydraulic pump, providing a flow capacity of 62 gal/min (235 l/min) and a relief valve setting of 4351.2 psi. With a bucket capacity of 3.9 cu yds (2 m³), a breakout force of 28,101.2 lbs (12,747 kg), and a static tipping weight of 26,895 lbs (12,200 kg), the L550 XPower excels in heavy-duty applications.
