The Liebherr R 920 Compact is a versatile crawler excavator designed for high performance in confined spaces, offering an operating weight of approximately 42,880 lbs (19,450 kg). It is powered by a robust 150 hp (112 kW) engine compliant with Stage V emission standards, delivering reliable net power at 1,800 RPM and torque of 682 Nm at 1,400 RPM. The machine features a mono boom measuring 5.0 meters paired with a 2.65-meter stick, enabling a maximum digging depth of 19 ft (5.8 m) and a maximum reach along the ground of 29.3 ft (8.9 m).
