The Liebherr R946 Litronic is a powerful Tier 4 Final compliant hydraulic crawler excavator engineered for heavy-duty construction and earthmoving tasks. It is driven by a Liebherr D936 A7, 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine delivering a net power output of 299 hp (223 kW) at 1800 rpm, with a maximum torque of 1453 lbs-ft at 1000 rpm and a displacement of 640 cu in (10.52 L). This engine features water-cooled cooling and dry-type air cleaning, along with sensor-controlled idling for efficient fuel use.
