The MAZAK SLANT TURN 500M is a high-performance, heavy-duty horizontal CNC turning center engineered for large-part machining applications. Featuring a robust main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 35.830" and a maximum turning length of 42.600", it supports workpieces up to a 40.940" max swing diameter. The machine is equipped with an 18" chuck and delivers 60 HP at 1,600 RPM, ensuring high torque and efficient cutting for demanding materials. Its 12-position turret enables rapid tool indexing, while the rotary tool spindle achieves speeds up to 4,000 RPM with 7.5 kW (10 HP) output, supporting secondary milling and drilling operations. Designed for versatility, the SLANT TURN 500M offers 2-axis control as standard, with optional 3-axis capability for expanded machining flexibility.
