The MILLTRONICS MM3017 Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance, three-axis CNC machine designed for precision and reliability in demanding machining environments. Featuring a robust cast iron construction with 35 mm linear rails and precision-ground ball screws, the MM3017 delivers exceptional rigidity and accuracy. The machine offers 30 inches of X-axis travel, 17 inches of Y-axis travel, and 18 inches of Z-axis travel, supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 1,000 lbs on its 35" x 16" table. The spindle is a CT40 taper, capable of 8,000 RPM and powered by an 18 HP motor, ensuring high-speed cutting and efficient metal removal. The MM3017 is equipped with a 16-pocket carousel automatic tool changer for rapid tool exchange and increased productivity. Control is provided by the Milltronics 8200-B CNC, a PC-based system known for its advanced processing speeds, conversational programming, and compatibility with standard G & M codes.
