The Niigata Machine Techno USA, Inc. HN1250-S is a robust horizontal machining center engineered for heavy-duty precision manufacturing. It features a spacious 49.2" x 39.37" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 7,700 lbs, accommodating large and heavy components with ease. The machine operates on four axes, with an optional fifth, and offers X, Y, and Z travels of 86.61", 70.87" (or optional 64.96"), and 47.24" respectively, alongside a full 360° B-axis rotation for complex part machining. The horizontal spindle utilizes a CAT #50 taper running up to 6,000 RPM (with an optional 3,500 RPM variant), powered by 50 HP (with a 35 HP option) for high torque and stability during cutting.
Equipped with a 62-tool automatic tool changer (expandable up to 255 tools), the HN1250-S ensures efficient tool management with rapid tool change times of 6.5 seconds and chip-to-chip times of 12 seconds. Dual pallets come standard, enabling continuous operation, with options to expand to 50 pallets for increased productivity. Rapid traverse rates reach up to 1,575 inches per minute across all linear axes, optimizing cycle times for high-volume production. The design supports both standard and rotary tables, adding versatility for diverse machining operations.
