The Parpas FAS-3M Vertical Machining Center is a high-performance CNC machine designed for precision milling operations. The vertical spindle utilizes a #40 taper, delivering a maximum speed of 4,000 RPM (optional 5,000 RPM) and 20 HP (30-minute rating), ensuring efficient material removal and excellent surface finishes. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard 12-tool capacity (expandable to 20 tools), facilitating rapid and flexible tool changes. The machine operates on three primary axes (X, Y, Z), with an optional fourth axis for advanced machining needs. Axis travels are 41.34" (X), 25.59" (Y), and 19.69" (Z), all supporting a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 394 ipm for swift and accurate positioning. The A-axis offers 105° rotation, while the B-axis provides full 360° rotation, enabling complex multi-sided machining.
