A+Technical Description
The PROKING PA-35 manual lathe is a heavy-duty flat-bed lathe featuring a maximum swing over the bed of 34.65 inches (880mm) and powered by a robust 20 HP dual voltage spindle motor, with options for higher horsepower available. Designed for precision and durability, the lathe includes a pressurized one-shot lubrication system for the cross slide and carriage, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. It supports a wide range of turning capacities with a swing over the cross slide of approximately 24.2 inches (615mm) and a spindle bore accommodating sizes from 6 inches upwards. The PA-35 is equipped with 2 “Vee” ways plus a front lateral way for optimal carriage support and stability during machining. It features a mechanical dead center (MT #6) for accurate tool positioning. The lathe can handle workpieces with center distances ranging from 1,500mm to as long as 12,000mm, providing flexibility for diverse heavy-duty turning tasks. The spindle nose is designed to fit standard A2-11 to A2-32 mounting configurations, suitable for various tooling setups. The machine’s solid construction and precision components make it suitable for demanding industrial machining applications requiring high torque and consistent performance. With a length capacity scalable by increments up to 20,000mm in the series, the PA-35 is ideal for medium to large-scale manufacturing or repair work requiring manual lathe precision and power.
