A+Technical Description
This CNC vertical machining center features a robust 55" x 23.6" worktable capable of supporting workpieces up to 2,200 lbs, with optional support for index and rotary tables. It operates on 3 axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 42", 24", and 25.6" respectively, all achieving a rapid traverse rate of 787 inches per minute and a maximum feed rate of 393 inches per minute. The vertical spindle utilizes a Cat #50 taper, delivering 25 HP continuous power (30-min rating) and speeds up to 6,000 RPM standard, with an optional upgrade to 12,000 RPM. Equipped with an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) holding 30 tools standard, it can be optionally expanded to 60 tools, with a tool change time of 4 seconds and chip-to-chip change time of 7 seconds. The machine also offers optional pallet changer integration. An optional 4th axis can be added to enhance machining complexity. The machine is designed for heavy-duty milling operations requiring high precision, rigidity, and throughput, suitable for components demanding large table capacity, high spindle power, and quick tool changes. The machine control and mechanical systems enable stable, accurate machining across three linear axes, while optional indexing or rotary tables further extend its capability for versatile part handling and complex geometries. This configuration supports demanding industrial manufacturing environments, balancing large workpiece capacity, substantial spindle power, and fast tool handling for efficient CNC machining operations.
