A+Technical Description
The Rohde & Schwarz ZVB14 is a high-performance vector network analyzer (VNA) designed for precise RF and microwave testing across a broad frequency range of 10 MHz to 14 GHz, with extended capability from 0.3 to 8 GHz and up to 20 GHz in some configurations. It features a dynamic range exceeding 80 dB at 10–100 MHz (typical 110 dB), over 100 dB at 100–700 MHz (typical 130 dB), and greater than 120 dB at 700 MHz to 8 GHz (typical 133 dB), enabling highly sensitive and accurate measurements of transmission and reflection parameters. The unit is compact, with a height of 0.79 ft and a depth of 1.38 ft. The ZVB14 supports fast sweep times and offers advanced calibration methods (TOSM, TRL/LRL, UOSM) for improved measurement accuracy. It provides up to four test ports and can feed multiple ports simultaneously, enhancing productivity in complex measurement scenarios. Its integrated functions include filter measurements, amplifier stability analysis, and limit line generation for pass/fail testing, all supported by a user-friendly interface and extensive trigger and sweep options. The device maintains excellent power linearity and measurement accuracy with options for direct generator/receiver access to increase sensitivity by around 10 dB. With robust build quality, oven-controlled crystal oscillator for frequency stability, and multiple interface connectivity options, the ZVB14 is ideal for R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance environments requiring precise network parameter characterization in RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave applications.
