The SNK PM-6 Vertical Machining Center is a high-capacity, multi-spindle 5-axis gantry mill designed for large-scale aerospace and structural component manufacturing. Featuring a massive bed length of 1,457 inches (121.4 ft) and a table/pallet size of 120" x 1339", this machine supports heavy workloads up to 500 lbs/sqft. It delivers extensive travel ranges with 1024" in X, 124" in Y, and 28" in Z, enabling the machining of exceptionally large parts. The system is equipped with three independent CAT#50 spindles, each powered by a 30 HP motor and capable of speeds up to 7,200 RPM, spaced 40" apart for efficient parallel processing. Each spindle provides full 5-axis capability with ±25° A-axis and B-axis travel, allowing complex multi-sided operations with minimal repositioning. Rapid traverse rates of 200/200/100 IPM (X/Y/Z) ensure swift tool movement and reduced cycle times.
