The Starrag HEC 1800 P 150 is a horizontal machining center designed for large-scale, heavy-duty manufacturing operations. This 4-axis CNC machine features impressive axis travels of 3,400mm (X), 2,500mm (Y), and 2,250mm (Z), accommodating workpieces with edge lengths up to 3,300mm and maximum weights of 13,000kg. The machine is equipped with a horizontal spindle orientation and HSK-A 100 taper tooling system, delivering 55 horsepower (41 kW) with spindle speeds up to 5,000 RPM in its standard configuration, though variants with higher power outputs up to 84 kW and speeds exceeding 12,500 RPM are available. The automatic tool changer accommodates 40 tools, while the dual-pallet system enables continuous operation with minimal downtime. The HEC 1800 P 150 utilizes a modular design philosophy that allows customization for single-item production, series manufacturing, or large-scale operations. Its compact, torsionally rigid spindle provides excellent material removal rates and machining precision.
