This CNC lathe features a 20-inch swing and a 33-inch machining length, designed for versatile turning operations on a wide range of workpieces. It is equipped with the FAGOR 8055 TC control system, a high-performance CNC platform known for its reliability and advanced functionality. The control offers a fully alphanumeric keyboard, intuitive conversational programming, and support for ISO and high-level programming languages, enabling efficient part programming and editing. The system supports up to 4 spindle speed ranges, managed through machine parameters MAXGEAR1–MAXGEAR4, and allows seamless gear changes via auxiliary functions M41–M44, ensuring optimal spindle speed and torque for various machining requirements. The CNC communicates with the PLC using logic outputs such as TSTROBE and SSTROBE for tool and spindle management, and waits for the AUXEND input to confirm cycle completion. The integrated high-speed PLC provides 16 inputs and 8 outputs, supporting digital servo or analog drive communication.
