This CNC lathe features a 24-inch swing and a 120-inch machining length, designed for high-precision turning operations on large workpieces. It is equipped with the FAGOR 8055 TC control system, a robust and versatile CNC platform that supports up to 3 axes and offers advanced programming capabilities in both ISO and Fagor languages. The control provides a fully alphanumeric keyboard, multiple communication ports including RS-232, USB, and optional Ethernet, enabling seamless integration with offline programming systems and easy program transfer. The FAGOR 8055 TC supports a wide range of canned cycles for turning, facing, taper turning, threading, and more, with user-defined cycles and an onboard graphic editor for intuitive program creation and editing. The control features a high-speed integrated PLC with 16 inputs and 8 outputs, digital servo or analog drive communication, and override controls for feedrate and spindle speed. It supports programmable spindle speeds, tool calibration, automatic tool inspection, mid-program start, and background editing. The system also includes zero offsets, feedrate ranging from 0.00001 to 7900 inches/min, and multiple compensation functions.
