This CNC lathe features a 24-inch swing and a 160-inch machining length, designed for high-precision turning operations on large workpieces. It is equipped with the advanced FAGOR 8055 TC control system, offering intuitive programming and robust machine management. The control supports up to 3-axis operation, includes a fully alphanumeric keyboard, and provides multiple communication ports such as RS-232, USB, and optional Ethernet for seamless integration with offline programming systems and data transfer. The FAGOR 8055 TC delivers a comprehensive range of canned cycles for turning, facing, taper turning, and threading, with user-defined cycle capability and on-board graphic editing. It supports both ISO and high-level programming languages, as well as conversational programming for ease of use. The control features background editing, automatic tool calibration, tool inspection with auto-return, mid-program start, and override controls for feedrate and spindle speed. It offers up to 16 digital inputs and 8 outputs, with optional expansion via CAN modules, and supports analog and digital servo communication. The system enables programmable spindle speeds, synchronized spindles, and advanced interpolation modes including linear, circular, and helical. Additional features include zero offsets, feedrate ranging from 0.00001 to 7900 inches/min, and support for up to 999,999 main programs with 15 nesting levels. The FAGOR 8055 TC ensures high-speed communication (up to 115 K baud rate), automatic input voltage sensing, and robust PLC integration for reliable, high-performance machining in demanding production environments.
