Tajmac - ZPS MCV 1220 VERTICAL MACHINING CENTER

This vertical machining center features a large worktable measuring 78" by 47", capable of supporting workpieces up to 6,000 lbs. It offers a robust 3-axis configuration with X, Y, and Z travels of 70", 40", and 23.6" respectively, each with a maximum feed and rapid traverse rate of 787 IPM and 1,574 IPM. The spindle is vertically oriented with a standard BT 40 taper, optionally upgradeable to HSK 63, running at a top speed of 14,000 RPM, with an alternate 10,000 RPM configuration. Spindle power is rated at 33 HP (30-minute rating), supporting high-performance cutting applications. The tool management system includes a double-arm random position tool carrier with a 30-tool capacity, achieving tool changes in approximately 6 seconds. Additional options include support for indexing and rotary tables, as well as a pallet changer with up to 2 pallets. This machining center is optimized for heavy-duty, precision machining tasks such as mold making, die work, and large part manufacturing that require stable fixturing and high spindle power. The combination of high spindle speed, powerful motor, and rapid axis movement enables efficient roughing and finishing operations while maintaining accuracy.
