The TongTai HB-800 is a high-performance horizontal machining center designed for heavy-duty precision machining. It features a large 32" x 32" table capable of supporting workpieces up to 3,960 lbs, ideal for substantial manufacturing tasks. The machine operates on a 4-axis configuration (X, Y, Z, and B axes), with travels of 47", 40", 40", and full 360° rotation on the B axis, respectively, enabling versatile and complex part machining. The horizontal spindle, with a #50 taper, delivers up to 10,000 RPM powered by a 40 HP motor rated for 30 minutes, supporting robust cutting operations. Its automatic tool changer (ATC) accommodates up to 60 tools as standard, with an option to expand to 240 tools, minimizing downtime with a rapid 2.4-second tool change time. The included pallet changer standardizes efficiency with two pallets, enabling continuous machining processes. Rapid traverses reach up to 1,968 ipm across all axes, enhancing cycle times. The design omits support rotary or index tables, focusing on a straightforward, rigid setup that maximizes workpiece stability and machining accuracy.
