Technical Description

The Vibromax 752C is a heavy-duty tandem smooth drum roller designed for efficient soil and asphalt compaction. Powered by a Cummins 3.9-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 82 kW (110 hp), it meets EPA emissions standards. The roller’s operating weight is approximately 10.59 tonnes (23,300 lbs) and features dual steel drums, each 66 inches (1,675 mm) wide, providing an operating width of 77.6 inches. Its vibratory system operates at frequencies of 1,980 or 2,520 vibrations per minute, enabling adjustable compaction intensity. The hydrostatic drive system includes a Mannesmann Rexroth variable displacement axial piston pump that powers the front and rear drum drive motors via a parallel circuit, offering reliable propulsion and maneuverability with a tight inside turning radius of 200 inches. The drivetrain includes two-speed Rexroth drum drive motors with planetary gearboxes and integrated spring-applied, hydraulically released multi-disc parking brakes on both drums. The roller is equipped with a pressurized intermittent sprinkler system to reduce asphalt adhesion, dual scrapers on each drum, and an operator’s deluxe adjustable seat with protective canopy and 4-post ROPS for safety. Instrumentation includes fuel level, engine temperature gauges, hour meter, and various indicator lights. Transport dimensions are 4.23 meters in length, 1.79 meters in width, and 2.97 meters in height. The Vibromax 752C is engineered for durability, operator comfort, and compliance with emissions regulations, making it suited for heavy compaction tasks in construction and roadwork projects.
