Technical Description
The WEILER CNC lathe series, manufactured by WEILER Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, includes 56 models designed for precision, reliability, and versatility in various machining applications. These CNC lathes feature a solid and rigid substructure, highly dynamic linear guides, and precise spindle bearings to ensure exceptional accuracy and thermal stability. Control units vary by model, with some equipped with the latest Siemens ONE1 control featuring a 19-inch touchscreen interface, optimized for user-friendly programming and operation. Spindle speeds range broadly depending on the machine, with models like the W 35 CNC offering up to 4,500 rpm at 9 kW output and 90 Nm torque, suitable for smaller components and training purposes. Larger models, such as the E 120, provide heavy-duty capabilities with a 45 kW drive, spindle bore options up to 362 mm, and torque reaching 10,000 Nm, capable of machining workpieces up to 15 meters in length.
The WEILER DZ 45 CNC model is compact and high-precision, with a turning diameter of 240 mm, length of 500 mm, 21.5 kW main drive, and up to 16 driven tools with an additional Y-axis for complex tasks. The ergonomic design across WEILER CNC lathes ensures efficient setup and operation, supporting production, toolmaking, research, and training environments. Models also incorporate energy-saving systems, extensive accessories, and meet DIN accuracy standards, making WEILER CNC lathes suitable for high productivity and demanding precision turning.
