Technical Description
The WFL M120 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance, multifunctional CNC machine designed for the complete machining of complex workpieces in a single setup. Featuring a robust 90 kW main drive with a maximum speed of 1,000 rpm and a peak torque of 10,248 Nm, the machine delivers exceptional power and precision for demanding turning, milling, boring, and gear cutting operations. The C-axis offers a programmable increment of 0.001°, a maximum speed of 20 rpm, and a clamping torque of 6,000 Nm, ensuring high accuracy and rigidity during rotational operations. The machine’s feed system provides longitudinal (Z) and transversal (X) feed forces of 30.0 kN and 31.5 kN, respectively, with a Y-axis feed force of 25.0 kN, supporting heavy-duty machining tasks. Rapid traverse speeds reach 15.0 m/min on the Z and X axes and 12.5 m/min on the Y-axis, enhancing productivity. The B-axis offers a pivot range of -110° to +90° with a swivel speed of 90 °/s and a maximum swivel torque of 1,400 Nm, enabling versatile tool positioning. The tailstock quill, with a diameter of 300 mm and an adjustable force from 6,000 to 77,300 N, ensures secure workpiece clamping. The tool holder drive delivers 55 kW, with a speed range up to 3,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 730 Nm. The Y-axis travel is 650 mm, and the machine supports tools up to 25 kg, with maximum diameters and lengths tailored for flexible tooling configurations. The system operates on 3x460 V / 60 Hz, with a total connection power of 162 kVA / 145 kW, making it suitable for industrial environments requiring high reliability and efficiency.
