The WFL M80 Horizontal Machining Center is a versatile 5-axis MILLTURN machine designed for complex machining tasks combining turning, milling, drilling, and probing operations in a single setup. It features a robust main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 39.3 inches and turning length of up to 196.85 inches, accommodating large workpieces with a chuck diameter of 19.69 inches and a max swing of 33.46 inches. The main spindle operates at speeds up to 1,600 RPM, with an optional boost to 2,400 RPM and delivers 106 HP, ensuring powerful cutting performance. The machine supports up to 36 tools on the automatic tool changer (ATC) for both turning and rotary tools, with rotary tool specifications reaching 77 HP and 5,000 RPM, enabling multifunctional machining with high flexibility. The machining center provides high-speed, precise linear travels across its axes: X-axis (35.4 inches), Y-axis (25.5 inches), and Z-axis (34.25 inches), each capable of rapid traverses and feed rates up to 590 inches per minute, optimizing cycle times without sacrificing accuracy.
