Cambridge Towel Plant, N.A.’s Largest Towel Manufacturer to be auctioned off on Aucto

Late-model textile and towel manufacturing machinery and general plant equipment to be sold in an online auction on June 16, 2017

CAMBRIDGE, ON–(Marketwired – June 06, 2017)

After 52 years as North America’s largest towel manufacturer, Cambridge Towel is shifting to a fully import platform. As a result, the company ceased its Cambridge, Ontario facility’s operations in late 2016. Equipment and machinery will be sold via auction by the industrial auctioneer, IAAS Worldwide. The auction offering includes late model textile and towel manufacturing machinery as well as general plant equipment used in the now-closed facility.

IAAS Worldwide will be hosting the one-day online auction on June 16, 2017. The auction will be hosted on www.aucto.com. Textile and towel manufacturing machinery lots include Tsudakoma air-jet looms, a Benninger slasher, as well as sheers and dryers. General plant machinery and equipment in the offering includes: 72-inch steel beams, carts, overhead cranes, forklifts, compressors, and more. Click here to view the lot catalog.
