1974 Surface Combustion Oil Tempering Line

The Surface Combustion continuous strand annealing furnace line with multi-station wire handling system includes preheat furnace and hardening furnace sections with refractory-lined chambers and insulated enclosures. Equipped with multiple driven pulley wheels, guide rollers, and inline material transport structure for continuous processing. Combustion-based heating system with gas and air supply lines. Maximum fuel demand up to 2,500,000 BTU/hr (hardening furnace) and 2,000,000 BTU/hr (preheat furnace). Operating temperatures up to approximately 1650°F (898°C) and 2300°F (1260°C) depending on furnace section. System includes centralized control panels and electrical cabinets. Electrical requirements: 575V, 3-phase, 60Hz.
